Notes from a full heart
I’m still absolutely bowled over by how many people came out to celebrate Luma’s 10th birthday with us last week.
Seeing so many clients, collaborators, friends and familiar faces all in one place was honestly quite something. The night was full of laughter, hugs and a lot of gratitude.
So, a huge thank you.
To our clients
You’re the reason we get to do what we do. You trust us with your brands, your reputations and your money (thank you for that bit in particular).
The guiding star of the business has always been to do good work for good people. I’m so glad I got that clear from the start, and it’s something that’s stood the test of time (remember, as we always say, your core identity doesn’t shift and change, it keeps you grounded).
You lot are fantastic people, and we really do love working with you.
To our collaborators
This is not “The Lucy Show” and it wouldn’t be possible without countless other people’s support to make it happen.
I use collaborators in the loosest sense here – perhaps comrades is more suitable – because our most important supporters are our friends and family who keep us focused on what matters and pick us up off the floor when things go wrong.
And then there are those who support Luma’s work more formally, and we love to collaborate with you. Whether your work is seen or is behind the scenes, you help us do great work, and I see how much graft you put in.

10 years is a long time in agency life. To hit that milestone surrounded by the people who’ve helped make it possible was pretty special.
